Q.Is SousEye free?
Yes — SousEye includes a free tier with limited monthly imports and analyses, and a SousEye Plus subscription that unlocks unlimited imports, longer videos, voice guidance, and the full pantry/scaling features.
Q.What videos can I import?
SousEye supports public TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube links to recipe content. We fetch only what is publicly available; private accounts and login-walled videos cannot be imported.
Q.How does ingredient identification work? Is my fridge being monitored?
SousEye only accesses your camera or photo library when you explicitly take or pick a photo. We never monitor your library in the background. Photos are uploaded only to identify ingredients, then handled per our Privacy Policy.
Q.Can I use SousEye if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
You can set dietary preferences in Settings, and SousEye will try to flag conflicts. That said, AI can miss things. Always read every ingredient list yourself before cooking or eating, especially for severe allergens.
Q.How do I cancel SousEye Plus?
Subscriptions are managed in iPhone → Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Find SousEye and tap Cancel. The subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
Q.How do I request data deletion?
Email dapsdev.support@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" from the email associated with your account, or use the Delete Account option in Settings. We process deletions within 30 days.
