  • Q.Do guests need to install Receiptify?

    No. Guests open a shareable link in any browser and claim items in real time. Only hosts (the person scanning the receipt) need an account.

  • Q.What does Receiptify Pro unlock?

    Pro removes the cap on splits per month, attaches the original receipt photo to every split, enables CSV export, gives priority parsing, and supports the indie-dev side of the project.

  • Q.How accurate is the AI receipt parsing?

    Receiptify uses OpenAI vision to read line items, prices, tax, and tip. It works well on most thermal receipts, but handwriting, faded ink, and unusual receipt formats can produce mistakes. Always check the parsed receipt against the paper original before splitting.

  • Q.How is tax and tip split?

    By default, Receiptify apportions tax and tip pro-rata across each guest's claimed items. Hosts can switch to equal split or host-pays in the split's settings before sharing the link.

  • Q.How do I cancel my subscription?

    Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Receiptify and cancel from there. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

  • Q.Can I delete a split or my account?

    Splits can be deleted from your history at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use the Delete Account option in Settings or email dapsdev.support@gmail.com.
